Curbless / Aging In Place Bathroom Remodel

Curbless showers are not only in, but here to stay! They offer a sleek entry into your shower and are modern as well as timeless. We had the privilege of working on a very special project!  A curbless but also "aging in place" wheelchair

accessible bathroom.

The relocation of not only the shower plumbing but the sink and toilet transformed this space completely. We also incorporated a closet that was located in front of the sink area to enlarge the bathroom.

We gutted this bathroom to expose the existing studs. We took down the wall that divided the sink area and the shower/toilet area. Re-framed, re-located plumbing and electrical.

Our favorite parts of this bathroom are listed below;

  • New enlarged and curbless shower

  • 5-foot Linear Drain

  • Elegant full-length shower ledge

  • Beautiful white subway tile and tile accent wall

  • Brushed Nickel trim and fixtures including grab bars

  • Recessed medicine cabinet & vertical vanity lights

  • European style floating sink

  • Curbless entrance into the bathroom

Check out all the before, during, and after photos!

* In this home we also lifted a sunken living room, installed all new hardwood floors on the main level and upper level, painted the entire main level, and installed recessed lighting.

The bathroom project took 4 weeks from start to finish
