Full Basement Bathroom Remodel- Silver Spring, MD

This charming family wanted to make their basement bathroom, functional, updated, and modern. The bathroom had some bulkheads making the ceiling lower and had an awkward size shower that left a gap between it and the entrance causing wasted space.

We gutted this bathroom to expose the existing studs. We had to reframe, insulate, and took the wasted space to enlarge the shower. The design is simple, modern, and makes sense for the space!

 

Our favorite parts of this bathroom are listed below;

  • New enlarged shower 

  • Large shower tile minimizing grout lines

  • Beautiful gray and white pebble shower floor

  • New double sliding doors for easy access to the valve

  • Brushed Nickel trim and fixtures

  • Recessed medicine cabinet 

  • Water-saving toilet 

  • Ceiling height is achieved by relocating items in bulkheads 

  • Bye-bye wallpaper!
