Full Basement Bathroom Remodel- Silver Spring, MD
This charming family wanted to make their basement bathroom, functional, updated, and modern. The bathroom had some bulkheads making the ceiling lower and had an awkward size shower that left a gap between it and the entrance causing wasted space.
We gutted this bathroom to expose the existing studs. We had to reframe, insulate, and took the wasted space to enlarge the shower. The design is simple, modern, and makes sense for the space!
Our favorite parts of this bathroom are listed below;
-
New enlarged shower
-
Large shower tile minimizing grout lines
-
Beautiful gray and white pebble shower floor
-
New double sliding doors for easy access to the valve
-
Brushed Nickel trim and fixtures
-
Recessed medicine cabinet
-
Water-saving toilet
-
Ceiling height is achieved by relocating items in bulkheads
-
Bye-bye wallpaper!

"We've worked with Jorge and Brenda now for three separate projects: two bathroom renovations and an insurance-related claim for water damage. They have always been communicative, professional, and thorough--always providing recommendations and advice that made us confident that the work would be done right and to the highest level of quality. They helped us select the right supplies--especially for the first project when we were completely new to this process--and provided thorough estimates that helped us ensure we knew what we were getting, made it a breeze to work with insurance to process our one claim, and will be useful for our long-term records related to the value of our home. We encountered a couple of delays related to unforeseen circumstances (the kind of things we all experience as humans) and a couple of the jobs just being more involved--which none of us would have known until we opened up the walls. They remained dedicated to getting the job done without cutting corners. We would highly recommend them for their work and customer experience."
