Lucy & David's Project
This project included a kitchen, dining room and deck. There were many parts that contribute to this project so that these homeowners could have a space that functioned for them and that they could fully enjoy! Below see some of our favorite aspects that went into this kitchen and dining space.
-
Creating open concept (bye bye wall dividing kitchen & dining room)
-
Swapping a door and a window for new deck access
-
Exposing existing brick for new natural back splash behind stove
-
Exposing existing ceiling beams
-
Accent wood wrapping beam dividing the kitchen and dining room
-
Re-location of plumbing and electrical for sink and appliances
-
Custom cabinets from KraftMaid
-
Custom shelf and cabinet unit in dining room
-
Vibrant tile back splash under window
-
In cabinet microwave
-
Refinished existing hardwood floors

New window where door too deck used to be.

New French door to deck! Swapped the door in the kitchen and window in the dining room to allow the space to function better. Now guest can be entertained in both the dining room and the deck area while the homeowners are in the kitchen.

New Peninsula Breakfast Area. Also doubles as the in-cabinet microwave.

Exposing the existing ceiling beams and staining them really bring this space together.
