Rockville Bathroom Remodel
As if our clients can't get enough of us! We got to do a remodel to the upstairs bathroom of the previously posted "Basement Bathroom Remodel"
Yay!! It was so much fun working with this family they are troopers, (they will understand why I say that!) but with all honesty, for newbies into the remodeling world they really pulled the design part of the upstairs bath together quickly &
with almost none of my help!
Our favorite parts of this bathroom are listed below;
-
Geometric tile, installed in this way gave this bathroom 3D look & life!
-
Vertical double niche with tile shelf, matches bathroom floor tile design
-
New Bathtub and New window (we moved it up a little)
-
Brushed Nickel trim and fixtures
-
Gray tones, whites tones and even some blue tones
-
Dark grout to pull everything together and really make things pop
-
Recessed medicine cabinet
-
Vanity w/bottom elegant storage & top with perfect amount of gray veining
-
Water saving toilet
Check out all the before, during and after photos!
Project took 3 weeks start to finish
Location: Rockville, MD
Wanted this bathroom to still feel like their basement bathroom but different. Gray tons, White tones, and blue tones.
We used the same water saving toilet as in the basement. Same White subway tile & a beautiful vanity sink.
This particular floor tile has many different ways of installation. We all decided on this installation which makes the floor almost 3D like and provides some beautiful dimension in this bathroom.
Framed the shower tub area with this timeless white subway tile that wraps the area so elegantly. We used darker grout as we did in the basement bathroom to tie it all together and make the white pop!
You can see that the shower / tub area is wrapped in the brushed nickel trim which was also used around the niche.
Going with the same 3D geometrical design as the floor the niche really provides the a great space for shower essentials. We used a tile shelf as well for separate sections.
This vanity has the perfect amount of gray veining tying everything together so delicately.
We re-framed for a new recessed medicine cabinet and added a new light fixture which matches all the brushed nickel finishes.
It looks great from all angles!
